One of the biggest dreams for every girl is to "grow up and
get married," to have Prince Charming kneel on one knee with that sparkling
ring, and to stand under the chupah
and watch as her beloved breaks the cup...
There is a story of a very poor yeshiva student who decided
to leave his academy and strike out on his own. He became a very wealthy man.
His rabbi came by to visit him in his palace one day. Yes, he had a palatial
home and he was very proud to show his rabbi around.
One
thing we should constantly strive for is to be able to see the next generation
succeed - to watch our children grow up in a sound and structured environment
that is centered on Messiah and Torah. There is a great joy in watching future
generations singing and dancing as they follow the Torah processional around
the synagogues every Sabbath. It is vital that we have a deep desire to provide
a place where our children can find rest and peace. We must learn to put our
differences aside and work toward something greater.
